The Sorensen family
The Sorensen family picked one of my all-time favorite locations for their yearly family photos. I love shooting at Utah Lake because it's centrally located for a lot of people, it's right off the freeway (no long winding drive up a canyon to get there), and it's nice and bright and neutral all year round.
All the stars aligned that night, and it was absolutely gorgeous weather. Lots of sun, not too hot, a nice light breeze, and the mosquitos didn't come out until a few minutes after sunset, right when we were finishing up our shoot.
Of course the main thing that made this session fantastic were the people. The Sorensen family were playful and loving, totally willing to laugh and play and be patient and do whatever I requested. They were an incredible family to work with. Thanks, Sorensen family, for a great shoot!
